With two spine-tingling rides, Proud James 2025 was crowned undisputed at the World Breeding Dressage Championship of five-year-olds in Verden/GER. This beautiful dancer already enchanted judges and audiences alike in the qualifiers (89.600 percent). He even managed to improve on his performance in the final. “The trot is very active, very elastic, very well balanced and with a good swinging back, good extensions and equally good return,” enthused Maria Colliander on behalf of the jury. He received a 9.3 for his trot. The judges were also impressed by his ground-covering walk and active, well-balanced uphill canter. They awarded him 8.3 and 9.0 respectively. The even contact, swinging back and focus on his rider Mette Sejbjerg Jensen led to a score of 9.2 for suppleness. And for his prospects, the very well-trained, extremely charming gray horse received a 9.5. The final score of 90.60 percent points led to World Breeding Dressage Championship gold for Proud James. A year earlier, he had already won the competition for four-year-olds at the World Breeding Dressage Championship under his then rider Maxi Kira von Platen. This confirmed his record victory in the stallion performance test in the Netherlands. He received 91 points in that competition. He received a 9.0 for his walk, trot, canter, rideability, and potential, and a perfect 10 for his self-carriage and suppleness.

Proud James passes on his magnificent beauty and boundless elegance of movement to his foals. He sired the championship finalist Noble James in Denmark, Vlamboyant H at the KWPN Kampionskeuring, and a finalist at the German Foal Championships.

From the dam elite, prok Cyraniek comes the KWPN-approved and Inter I-winning W-Horseland Inverness (by Everdale)/Brecht D'Hoore/NED. Her half-sister keur, pref, prest Niniek STV (by Jazz) has Grand Prix placings. She is the dam of the licensed and Inter I-placed Beukenvallei's Iconic B (by Bon Bravour).

Her granddam, keur, pref, prest Faniek STV, is half-sister to the licensed Randell STV (by Clavecimbel) and to the two Grand Prix horses Hermes (by Variant) and Arrivederci (by United).
