Veniro
Model athlete with ideal movement standard
- Comes from valuable blood with Di Niro as his dam's sire
Model athlete with ideal movement standard
Veniro shone at his licensing in Münster-Handorf with his charisma, his beautiful type, his good construction and his mechanics. When moving, he always works loosely through the body. All three basic gaits are endowed with plenty of rhythm and scope.
The judges at the Danish Warmblood licensing in 2024 also had words of praise for Veniro; "he is a well-functioning and large-framed stallion. The neck is well-arched, and he has a large and well-functioning shoulder. The walk is rhythmic and spacious, and he trots powerfully with good action, beautiful knees, and exceptionally good suspension. The canter is smooth, well-balanced, and uphill."
His sire, Va Bene, passed his 50-day test in Schlieckau with a score of 8.59, qualified for the Bundeschampionat as a five and six-year-old under Johanna Wadenspanner, was in the German line-up for the World Championships for Six-Year-Old Dressage Horses in 2022 and made his debut as a seven-year-old in 2023, winning advanced (S) level dressage competitions with scores of over 75 percent. Numerous top foals have been bred by Va Bene.
The dam, De Nira, is a half-sister to the advanced (S) level dressage horses Walentina (by Don Frederico) and Brenton (by Brentano II) as well as the medium (M) level dressage horse Wioletta (by Floresco).
The dam's sire De Niro won Grand Prix dressage competitions as an eight-year-old under riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, including the Hamburg Dressage Derby. He led the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires for six consecutive years. He owes this to his numerous successful championship offspring, such as the Olympic team gold medal winner and individual bronze medal winner Desperados under Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, the World Championship team gold medal winner D'Agostino with Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and the European Championship bronze medal winner Delgado with Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP). The aforementioned Desperados is also one of the more than 100 licensed sons of De Niro, who was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2008.
The great-granddam, Wendla, is a half-sister to the licensed stallions Fin de Siecle (by Florencio I), victorious up to Grand Prix level under his sport name Fabulous Tyme, and De l'amour (by Don Henrico). Other half-siblings are the Grand Prix dressage winner Charly R'ivels (by Charon)/Marion Wiebusch, the Grand Prix dressage horse Lionheart (by Landsieger I)/Karen Pavicic/CAN, the advanced (S) level dressage winner Dominus (by Diamond Hit)/Insa Hansen and the medium (M) level dressage horse Feuerschein (by Fahrenheit).
From the Hanoverian mare line of Königsheldin come, among others, the licensed stallions Flynn (by Falsterbo)/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, Epikur (by Espri), Florimon (by Falsterbo), Helsing (by His Highness), Fürst Wallerstein (by Fürst Nymphenburg), Setup OLD (by. Sieger Hit), Fürst Diamante (by Fürst Belissaro), Adlerhorst (by Adlerblick), Alpdruck (by Astflug), Amor (by Absatz), Can Can (by Carbid), Grandseigneur (by Grunewald), Ludendorff (by Lugano I), Weingraf (by Weingau) and Weltpoet (by Weltmeyer).
