Premium stallion in Danish Warmblood

" That's what the judges said about Straight Horse Leonardo at this year's Stallion Licensing in Danish Warmblood, where he was awarded Aage Ravn's Trophy for best Danish-bred 4-year-old stallion along with a Breeder's Silver Medal. At his 35-day test in 2023, the judges also had words of praise for this beautiful stallion; "The stallion works very positively, energetically and willingly with excellent rideability and balance," and awarded correspondingly high marks for the premium stallion for the 2023 Danish licensing. He was awarded a 9.0 for rideability and with a total of 844.5 points, he advanced to reserve winner - behind his box neighbor Viva Vegas.
His sire Lord Europe was himself a two-time premium stallion, an 800,000 euro stallion market prize sensation and - as the youngest stallion in the competition of the best young horses in Germany - came second in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Pokal. He won the winner's prize with a score of 9.5. Under Leonie Richter, he secured his ticket for the final with the highest score of all qualifiers - 77.951 percent. He produced several licensed sons from his first crop, including the second Westphalian Reserve Champion Lodovico, who was the second top stallion on the market with a knockdown price of 401,000 Euros. Lord Extra won bronze at the Oldenburg State Championships under Julian Fetzer and came fifth at the Bundeschampionat.
The dam Straight Horse De Milla was presented as a gold medal mare in Denmark and took sixth place at the Riding Horse Championships there in 2019. She also produced another licensed full brother to Straight Horse Leonardo, Straight Horse Liberace.
The dam's sire De Niro, himself already successful in the Grand Prix class as an eight-year-old and winner of the Hamburg Dressage Derby under riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, led the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires worldwide for six years in a row. There was never a championship where his offspring, including Desperados FRH/Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Dablino/Anabel Balkenhol, D'Agostino FRH/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, Delgado/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP, Voice/Edward Gal/NED, Deep Impact/Severo Jurado Lopez/ESP and Darco of De Niro ZS CH/Charlotte Lenherr/SUI, did not compete for medals. More than 260 advanced (S) level horses registered in Germany alone collected over 3.4 million euros in prize money for their sire. With over 100 licensed sons, the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2008 had a lasting influence on breeding.
The granddam Straight Horse Zackonik is successful in the Grand Prix Tour for the USA under Christopher Hickey. She is also a full sister to Glock's Zonik N.O.P./Edward Gal/NED. He led the Dutch team to silver at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED and finished sixth (freestyle) and eighth (special) in the individual competition. The pair also finished eighth at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg/SWE after coming seventh in both the Grand Prix and Special at the WEG in Tryon/USA in 2018. Straight Horse Zackonik's half-brother Blue Hors Santiano (by Sezuan) was also licensed. He placed with Renate Van Uytert/NED at the 2022 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo/NED. His half-brother Straight Horse Cosmo (by Grand Galaxy Win) successfully competes at Grand Prix level in the USA under Charlotte Jorst/USA. The half-sister Straight Horse Rozina (by Jazz) is the dam of the licensed stallion Straight Horse Sir Romance (by For Romance I).
The third dam is the elite bronze medal mare Romanik.
The Hanoverian line of Neanaza also produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Alfa (by A-Dur I)/Nuri Vila Perez/ESP.
