Global Player was crowned undisputed winner at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo/Netherlands as a six-year-old with a near perfect score of 97.600 percent. The Oldenburg and Danish licensing champion stallion, two-times performance test reserve champion, vice national champion and regional champion and fourth placed at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses (5 y/o) is ridden and trained by Eva Möller. Head judge Katrina Wüst described the dark bay beauty beauty as an “incredibly impressive horse”, and the audience celebrated him with rhythmic clapping when he reached the centre line. Following year, Global Player was gold winner at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in the seven-year-old class with Leonie Richter. Global Player continued his career with Marie Sohler and was part of the German gold team at the 2024 European Junior Championships in Opglabbeek/BEL. The pair also won gold (freestyle) and silver (individual test).
Global Player presented top-class foals at the shows and auctions. Several of the offspring in his first crops of foals are licensed and premium stallions, including German Young Dressage Horse Championship winner and Hanoverian Champion, Global Hope, as well as our own sire, Globall. His daughter Glamorous Gigi won the Baden-Wuerttemberg Regional Championships for three-year-old horses, as well coming third in the German Sport Horse Championship.
Through his sire Kastel's Grand Galaxy Win T and his dam, the Don Schufro daughter Chatel's Schurana, as well as the half-breed Rawage Quintus (by Age xx) in third generation and Trakehner Donauwind in fourth generation, noblest performance lines of all combined in his pedigree.
Sire Grand Galaxy Win T, himself son of the World Cup eighth placed Apache/Emmelie Scholtens/NED out of Jazz dam, was Danish champion stallion in 2014, Danish vice dressage horse champion in 2015 and placed finalist at World Championships for Young Dressage Horses (5 y/o) in 2016. Under Charlotte Jorst/USA, he also placed in international Small Tour. More than 10 sons were licensed, including the premium stallion Galaxico as well as the award-winning Hesselhøj Gnags and Giovanny-Bell and the second reserve winner of Oldenburg main premium, Galaxy. Lennox U.S. won team gold at European Junior Championships in Opglabbeek/BEL in 2024 under Maria Teresa Pohl. Got it BB, Inter II series winner under Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, stands out among his many sporty offspring.
Dam Chatel's Schurana received silver medal in her test and took part in the 2007 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden for Denmark. She was subsequently used for breeding.
Dam’s sire Don Schufro, Danish champion under Andreas Helgstrand/DEN and team bronze medal winner at 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong/HKG, sired numerous successful horses, most notably the Olympic gold and World Cup winner and European champion Weihegold OLD/Isabell Werth. From 2012 to 2017 and then again in 2019, he was among top ten dressage sires in the world according to the WBFSH. He also dominated FN breeding value for years.
Originally Hanoverian mare line Williswinda produced internationally successful dressage horses Happiness/Isabella Tovek/SWE, Don Corleone/Kathleen Muhr, Radcliffe/Agnete Berger/DEN, Macao/Elizabeth Bortuzzo/USA, Alion/Juan Manuel Vidal/ESP and Angelo/Markus Jungwirth and many more top horses.
