Sire of the dressage horse Bundeschampioness Happy Days Di Fonteabeti
Valverde was champion stallion, fourth at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, Bundeschampion and three times Westphalian champion. Under Yara Reichert, he placed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2021 as a seven year-old and recorded his first international victories in Inter A and B the following year. In 2023, he finished fourth in the Louisdor Prize final for the best young Grand Prix horses. At the beginning of 2024, the pair secured victory in the Small Final of the Derby Stars von Morgen Tour in Münster and collect placings in international Grand Prix dressage competitions.
Ten of his sons were licensed, including the second reserve winner Valverdos, the premium stallion Value and Vitamin B, who was successful in tests for young dressage horses. In 2023, his daughter Happy Days Di Fonteabeti/Maxi Kira von Platen won the Bundeschampionat (5yo) after coming eighth at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. The Valverde-daughter Velgra was the second reserve winner of the Westphalian Elite Mare Show. At the German Elite Mare Championships in Lienen, the Hanoverian Herwart von der Decken show final ring mare Versailles took bronze. Vidalita came ninth.
The father Vitalis himself was colt winner in the Netherlands in 2007, reserve winner of the NRW licensing in 2009, stallion performance test dressage index winner in 2010, placed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and in the Pavo Cup Final in 2012, champion in the USA in 2013 and qualified for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses again with a record number of points and won the international Small Tour at the age of seven in 2014. Back in Germany in 2016, Vitalis won the Nuremberg Burg Pokal Final in Frankfurt under Isabel Freese/NOR and the Stallion of the Year competition at Inter I level at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo/NED.
The dam Amicella placed internationally under Andrew Gould/GBR in the Small Tour (PSG/Inter I) and nationally the pair is victorious up to Grand Prix level.
Sire Ampère, himself KWPN champion stallion and stallion performance test winner, is one of the world's top dressage sires according to WBFSH ranking. He sired over 60 licensed sons, like Olympic stallions Abegglen FH NRW/Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT, All at Once/Yessin Rahmouni/MAR and Flambeau/Larissa Pauluis/BEL. His award-winning daughters headed by Westphalian Champion mare Anky.
The granddam First Fina (by First Final) was successful in sport under Nele de Pauw/BEL and produced the licensed stallion Mister Diamond (by Sir Donnerhall I).
The great-granddam Laomie produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Enrico (by Ehrentusch)/Oksana Gusarova/UKR. Enrico took part in the European Championships in 2017 and 2019.
Laomie is half-sister to the Grand Prix winner Artemis (by Florestan I), who took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London/GBR with Richard Davison/GBR. In 2011 and 2012, Artemis placed in the World Cup Final and as a five-year-old he took tenth place at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
From the Westphalian line of Grandel also the stallion Dario Fo (by Donnergott) as well as the dressage horses Adschy (by Artwig), Valencio NRW (by Viva Westfalia)/Florine Kienbaum, Sir Sir Sirius Black P (by Sir Bedo) or the show jumpers Cornet's Prinzess (by Cornet's Prinz), Mc Flurry (by Monte Cain).
