German Champion! Two-time stallion performance test record winner! Main premium champion!
With a magnificent performance, Escanto PS secured the title of German Champion of four-year-old stallions with his trainer Brandi Roenick/USA. The judges awarded a 10 for the "very, very expressive and light-footed trot with good suppleness, an absolutely fantastic engagement and a good balance even on curved lines". The judges also awarded him the dream score of 10 for canter and rideability. He also got 8.5 for type and conformation and 8.0 for walk, which resulted in a final score of 9.3 for the Oldenburg Regional Champion (9.2) and double stallion performance test record winner (9.43 and 9.12), who finished ahead of the strong competition. In 2024, Escanto PS made a winning debut in elementary (L) level competitions for young dressage horses and qualified for the German Championships.
His first crops of foals exceeded even the highest expectations with numerous show winners, auction highlights, finalists at the German Foal Championships and the winning foal at the 40th Austrian Warmblood Championships, Escariano. Escanto PS produced the top price of the Oldenburg "Special Edition" Auction, the filly Elegance, who was sold for 31,000 euros. For this, he was named Oldenburg’s main premium winner in 2024.
His sire, our stallion Escamillo, silver and bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses, finalist of the Burg Cup and victorious in Inter II competitions, has already produced numerous fantastic horses.
His dam Fairytale PS produced our stallion Fair Deal (by Franklin), who won the Moritzburg Championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the bronze medal at the Oldenburg Regional Championships (3y.o.) and who was awarded the Ic main premium in Oldenburg, and the licensed stallion Satisfaction PS (by Sandro Hit). Fairytale PS is the full sister of our Ib main premium winner Fürst Toto and the half sister of Donier (by De Niro), who is also a licensed stallion. A half brother of his dam Fairytale PS, Benjamin’s Button (by Baron), was sold at a high price at the P.S.I. Auction.
His great-grand-dam Lasira produced a licensed stallion by Foundation. Her daughters Disney’s Dory (by Desperando) and Gallery (by Governor)/Andrea Timpe/GER celebrated successes at high level. Gallery’s son Sergeant PS (by Sir Donnerhall I) was licensed in Mecklenburg and was the top price of 114,000 euros at the Schockemöhle Online Auction.
