Strandagergårds McCloud
Available from mid-April
Premium stallion of the Danish licensing
What an eye-catcher! Strandagergårds Mccloud comes from the most famous Danish mare line, which goes back to the foundation mare Stella Rosagergård, born in Germany in 1905. At his licensing in Herning, Denmark, he enchanted with basic gaits in a class of their own.
The sire My Vitality is a full brother to the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal winner and main sire Vitalis. He began his career as a premium stallion. He was also stallion performance test winner (total score 902.5) and winner of the Danish Championships. As a four-year-old under the saddle of Eric Guardia Martinez/ESP, he received scores of 9.0 and better in all traits. Cathrine Rasmussen/NOR then took over the further ride of My Vitality. He won dressage tests for young horses with scores over 83 per cent in a row. In 2024, he represented the colours of Norway at the World Breeding Dressage Championship for seven-year-old horses. Our Strandagergårds Mccloud is from My Vitality's first stallion crop.
The dam Strandagergårds Selma was successful in the dressage ring under Julie Dam Jensen/DEN.
Dam’s sire Sezuan was world champion for young dressage horses at the age of five, six and seven and is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after dressage stallions of our time. Under his trainer Dorothee Schneider, he also won international competitions up to Inter I. He has since been trained up to Grand Prix level with help of Patrik Kittel/SWE.
