He demonstrated his abundant qualities at his stallion performance test in Denmark (scores up to 9.0). Ridden by his owner, Yara Reichert, he won his first international young dressage horse classes, and his foals are highly sought-after for their very special qualities.
His sire, elite stallion Franklin, started out his career as a KWPN champion stallion, stallion performance test winner in the Netherlands, finalist at the Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses and successful competitor in international Small Tour classes. Ridden by Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson/SWE he has won and been placed in the Grand Prix arena. 20 of his sons have been licensed, including the Grand Prix horse Kaliber/Andrea Woodard/USA, reserve champions Franklin's Love PS and Kadans, our Oldenburg Championship bronze medal winner and Ic main premium winner Fair Deal, winner of the Aage Ravn Challenge Cup Slangerupgaard's Flottenheimer, and the Swedish stallion performance test winner Knockando VH. The dam Straight Horse Sezuanna was Danish foal winner, won her mare performance test, also became champion mare in Denmark and was ridden to success in the international Small Tour competitions by Imke Schellekens-Bartels/NED Her brother Sezuan is three times World Champion, with international victories up to Inter I level. He also has elite sire status and was named “Stallion of the Year”. Her full sister, Straight Horse Ascenzione, won the Small Tour at CHIO Aachen and the Burg-Pokal series final with Helen Langehanenberg, having previously placed fifth and eighth in Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses finals. In 2023, she was also placed in the Louisdor Prize final in Frankfurt. She is dam of licensed stallion Straight Horse Ramses (by Revolution) and the two placed dressage horse World Championship finalists Straight Horse Floriana (by Franklin) and Straight Horse Sun King (by Sir Donnerhall)/both Mette Sjebjerg Jensen/DEN. Full brother Straight Hors Don Zuan will compete in the international U25 tour. Half-siblings include World Championship finalist and international Grand Prix horse Straight Horse Don Tamino (by Totilas)/Philine Brunner/SUI and champion foal Straight Horse Zarina (by Zalabaster).
The dam's sire Zack was on the gold medal-winning team with Nanna Skodborg Merrald/DEN at the 2022 World Championships in Herning/DEN after narrowly missing out on a medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN the year before. He and Daniel Bachmann Andersen/DEN were part of the Danish team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA and the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED. They were also placed in the World Cup Final in 2018 and 2019. Zack, who was named elite stallion and stallion of the year in Denmark, has sired over 40 licensed sons and his offspring's competition placings have catapulted him up to third place in the current WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires.
Don Schufro, team bronze medal winner at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong/HKG with Andreas Helgstrand/DEN and Lionell provide their valuable genes further back in the pedigree.
