Our licensing champion Fürst Zonik PS already shines as an outstanding sire. His typey and strong-moving foals are highly sought after.
Fürst Zonik PS completed his stallion performance test in Schlieckau with the expected highlights in terms of rideability, willingness to perform and quality of movement. He immediately won young dressage horse competitions with Isabel Freese and earned his ticket for the German Championships.
His sire, Fürstenball, was Champion of the Oldenburg licensing, Champion of his stallion performance test, Oldenburg main premium winner, German and Oldenburg Regional Champion, finalist at the World Championships, victorious up to Prix St. Georges level, VTV dressage stallion, number one of the FN breeding valuation, Danish Elite Stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark. He is currently placed 14th in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires. He has produced numerous offspring who are successful in Grand Prix, amongst whom Heiline’s Danciera/Carina Cassøe Krüth/DEN, World Champion by team, placed fourth by team and seventh individually at the Olympics and team bronze medallist at the European Championships, particularly stands out. The five German Champions, Fürsten-Look, Festina PS, Fior, Feingefühl and Feine Bella appear amongst his offspring who are successful in championships. Fürsten-Look, Champion stallion and one of almost 100 licensed sons of Fürstenball, took third place in the Burg Cup final with Isabel Freese/NOR. He has produced around 300 premium daughters, amongst whom the two Oldenburg Champion Mares Fiesta Danza OLD and Fünf Sterne as well as the Hanoverian Champion Mare Fine Lady particularly stand out.
His dam, Zantana, was placed in young dressage horse competitions and was sold at the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum for 955,000 euros to a renowned dressage yard in the Netherlands and has already recorded victories in the International Small Tour there with Marieke van der Putten/NED. Her son Debutant PS OLD (by Deparon), who is also a licensed stallion, won the Oldenburg Regional Championships in 2021 and was placed fourth in the German Championship final for three-year-old stallions. In 2023, he was placed at the German Championships for young dressage horses with Dries van Dyck/BEL. Zantana also produced a licensed stallion by Don Schufro.
His dam’s sire, Glock’s Zonik N.O.P., who united the most influential stallions of Danish breeding with Zack, Romanov and Don Schufro, won team silver with Edward Gal/NED at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED and took eighth and sixth places in the Special and Freestyle. His offspring include Zhaplin Langholt/Charlotte Jorst/USA and Zonik Hit/João Pedro Moreira/POR, who were successful in Grand Prix, as well as Zaeta de Malleret/Helen Langehanenberg/GER, Zonella/Lauren Baggett/USA and Zum Glück RS2 OLD/Robin van Lierop/NED, who were placed in the Small Tour.
His grand-dam, Sondra, produced Glock’s Total U.S. (by Totilas)/Edward Gal/NED, licensed stallion, Pavo Cup winner and placed sixth at the Olympics, the licensed stallion Dante U.S. (by Dante Weltino), internationally victorious up to Inter I, the licensed stallions Mister U.S. (by Grey Flanell) and Ludwigslust PS (by Lord Europe), and Zaid (by Zonik), who is internationally successful in Small Tour. Sondra’s daughter Dandra PS (by Dante Weltino OLD) produced the licensed stallion Tango PS (by Totilas) and her daughter Delice PS (by De Niro) produced a premium stallion by Vitalis. Sondra is also the dam of Grand Prix winner Gossip Girl (by Grey Flanell)/Annika Feldhaus/GER and Great Gatsby PS (by Grey Flanell)/Jessica von Bredow-Werndl/GER, who was placed in intermediate (M**) level dressage competitions.
His great-grand-sire, Sir Donnerhall I, has already earned the status of "trademark stallion". Himself placed third at his licensing, Regional Champion, record winner of his stallion performance test, Vice World Champion of young dressage horses, German Champion and winner of the main premium, he can refer to over 100 licensed sons.
When bred to Sandro Hit, his great-grand-dam Contana produced the licensed stallion Swagman, who was victorious in Grand Prix with Kristy Oatley/AUS. Her daughter Contanita (by Sandro Hit) produced the licensed stallion Tostolany (by Totilas) and her daughter Viva Contana (by Vivaldi) produced our licensed stallion and Pavo Cup winner Extreme U.S. (by Escamillo).
The stallions Aledo, Brilloso du Feu and Carinue also descend from the dam line.
