Sire of international Grand Prix winner
Fürst Romancier’s offspring are amongst the winners in the international Grand Prix arenas, such as First Romance, Burg Cup winner and Louisdor Prize bronze medallist, who is trained by Dorothee Schneider and has achieved a series of victories in international Grand Prix competitions, some with scores of over 80 percent. Fioretto/Anu Sironen/FIN, Fürst Enno/Juliane Brunkhorst/GER, Furst Fritz/Daniel Pinto/POR, Ghio/Nars Gottmer/NED, Woodcroft Furst Romance/Tara Olver Donohoe/IRL, DSP First Class/Lia Welschof/GER, the three-time Young Riders Vice European Champion and Piaff-Förderpreis winner, DSP First Class/Lia Welschof, as well as the two-time Champion Stallion For Romance I OLD/Therese Nilshagen/SWE and his full sister Fasine OLD/Rudolf Widmann/GER, Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion and P.S.I. Auction top price, are also currently successful at Grand Prix level. Amadeus de Massa/Lauren Knopp/USA, For Romance II/Anna-Christina Abbelen/GER, Franka/Kira Laura Soddemann/GER and team silver medallist at the Junior European Championships Fürst Levantino/Marlene Sieverding/GER are, amongst others, victorious at Inter I level. Fuerstenhit/Noemi Zindel/SUI and Flora del Castegno/Monica Scotto Di Carlo/ITA were also successful at the European Youth Championships.
Fashion Prinz OLD, one of well over 35 licensed sons of Fürst Romancier, won gold at the Oldenburg Championships with Frederic Wandres, took fourth place at the German Championships, was second top price at the P.S.I. Auction, with a final bid of 750,000 euros, and won the bronze medal at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in 2022 in Ermelo/NED, after winning the qualification round. In 2023, he once again took the lead at the Oldenburg Championships for six-year-old dressage horses with Annika Feldhaus.
He has produced over 200 premium daughters, including My Romanciera, dressage Champion Mare in Holstein, and Flavienne, Reserve Champion mare at the Herwart von der Decken Show.
Fürstin D’Amour was sold for 82,000 euros at our Helgstrand/Schockemöhle Online Auction.
Fürst Romancier was awarded the Oldenburg main premium. In 2009, he was fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and at the German Championships, becoming the most successful stallion of his generation.
His sire, Fürst Heinrich, was Champion Stallion in 2001, winner of the Oldenburg main premium in 2002, World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses in 2003, and has produced over 50 licensed stallions, including our stallion Fürstenball, licensing and main premium champion, German champion and elite sire.
His dam, Ronja, also produced DSP Scarletti (by San Amour), who is victorious up to Grand Prix, and Freestyler (by Fürst Heinrich), who is placed in St. Georges dressage competitions. Fürst Romancier’s half sister Raguel (by Rosario) produced the licensed stallion Master Piece (by Morricone I).
His dam’s sire, Romancier, successful up to Prix St. Georges, comes from the Olympian lineage of Dodona, from which descend Rembrandt/Nicole Uphoff/GER, Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke/GER, Amon and Rubinstein.
Fürst Romancier represents the very successful Oldenburg Edoste line, from which also descend German Champion and European Championship participant Exupéry, Vice German Champion Landjuwel Gold, Olympic Grand Prix horse Petit Prince/Ellen Bontje/NED, German Champion Avignon, the international show jumping winners Questa Vittoria/Thomas Kleis and Quintera/Leon Thijssen/NED as well as the premium stallion Total Unique.
