Winner of Grand Prix Special at national competition 2020
With his masculine expression and impressive paces, Ferrari OLD is a guarantee for successful offspring. In 2016, he was the winner of the Oldenburg Championship for 4-year-old stallions, and the following year, he won silver at the prestigious World Championships for young dressage horses for 5-year-olds in Ermelo with a dream score of 9.2, including 9.7 for trot and 9.5 for canter and perspective. That same year, he won bronze in the final of the Danish Warmblood's Dressage Championship for 5-year-olds with an overall score of 8.86.
His sire, Foundation, was the "Hauptprämiesieger" in the Oldenburg Association in 2012 and has since achieved international success in dressage. He has proven to be a high-quality dressage stallion, as evidenced by his FN breeding value index of 163 points in 2017, as well as the impressive victories and high placings of his offspring.
The dam's sire, Hotline, was the champion stallion at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden in 2005 and also won the 70-day performance test in Schlieckau in 2006. In 2008, Hotline won the Danish Dressage Championship, and in 2009, he won the qualification for the final of the Danish Dressage Championship with an impressive score of 9.45 and finished second in the final. Later, Hotline was victorious in international Grand Prix competitions under Daniel Bachmann Andersen. His oldest offspring are successful in S-level dressage.
Ferrari is also active in the competition arenas. In January 2020, Ferrari made his debut in both Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special with great success. With Andreas Helgstrand in the saddle, Ferrari achieved a fantastic 2nd place in the Grand Prix with an impressive score of 71.567%, and in Sunday's Grand Prix Special, he secured 1st place with a score of 71.447%. These were incredible performances by the only 8-year-old breeding stallion. And he continues to impress with his results. In June 2023, he won gold with his rider, Rudolf Widmann, as part of the German team at the FEI Nations Cup in Hungary.
