At his stallion performance test in Denmark in 2022, all his scores were between 8.5 and 9.0: the walk, the paces under saddle, and the rideability were all marked "very good".
Overall, Åtoftens Springtime, whose genetics are hard to beat from a performance perspective, scored 870.5 points.
His dam Era Zummertime Hit is the half-sister of the Danish Champion Stallion, stallion performance test winner, and Gold Medal stallion Era Dancing Hit (by Uno Don Diego), who is the sire, among others, of the Vice World Champion of young dressage horses Hesselhøj Donkey Boy. His grand-dam St.Pr.St. Sumatra Hit was Champion Mare.
Her full brother, the licensed stallion Sandro Prinz, completed his stallion performance test in 2003 in Redefin as Dressage Champion and overall Reserve Champion. Under his sport name Standing Ovation, he won competitions for young riding horses.
