It was an unforgettable final at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, where our horses and riders once again showed their talent on the international stage.
In the 5-year-old final, our breeding stallion Proud James, ridden by Mette Sejbjerg, impressed both the judges and the audience with a performance of outstanding quality. With elegance, power, and precision, they secured the gold medal, confirming the stallion’s extraordinary potential for future top sport.
Mette also rode Straight Horse Leonardo in the same class, where the pair delivered another strong performance and were rewarded with the bronze medal. This double podium success highlights both the quality of our horses and the strong partnerships in between horses, riders, grooms and trainers.
In addition, Ferdinand de Fontaine, ridden by Merita, had a beautiful round in the final and was awarded a 11th place.
These outstanding results are a reflection of the hard work, dedication and expertise of our riders, trainers and grooms, and we are proud to see it all works out at an international stage like this!
