5 former Helgstrand horses in the Louisdor-Preis Final 2023
This week, the annual Louisdor-Preis final is taking place in the Frankfurter Festhalle. The Louisdor Preis tournament is for young Grand Prix horses aged 8-10, and last year, the final in Frankfurt was won by Sönke Rothenberger (GER) on the horse Fendi, which he acquired from Helgstrand Dressage in 2019. This year, the Louisdor-Preis final will also feature horses purchased from Helgstrand Dressage – in fact, a total of 5 out of the 10 qualified horses are former Helgstrand horses:
- Straight Horse Ascenzione/Helen Langehanenberg (GER)
- Valverde NRW/Yara Reichert (GER)
- Springbank II VH/Yara Reichert (GER)
- Fortunity s/Nuno Palma e Santos (POR)
- Freischütz 5/William Matthew (AUS)
