Sylvester is a grey gelding from 2014. He is a large-sized horse.
Material test winner 2017 Tørveslettens Sylvester is a modern and large-framed gelding with very good movements, who has been rated several times to 9- and 10-points. In 2018, he placed second in the qualifying round for the Danish Riding Federation's Dressage Championships with an impressive 93.8%, while he sovereignly won the 35-day test later that year with 870.5 points.
His great gait ability must be said to be in his genes, as he is after the wing stallion and three-time world champion, Sezuan, who sovereignly won his 35-day test in the Danish Varmblood with a total of 976.5 points and ten 10s and later the DRF dressage championship for 4-year-olds with Andreas Helgstrand. Since then he has been incredibly successful under Dorothee Schneider with the three World Championship titles as well as several victories in small tour. On the dam's side we have the gold medal mare Tørveslettens Stamina, who has many victories behind her. Stamina won silver at the DRF Dressage Championships for 4-year-olds, after which she won for both 5- and 6-year-olds. She was UVM finalist in both 2010 and 2011 and has several wins up to Grand Prix under Andreas Helgstrand. The grandsire is the wing stallion Stedinger, who himself has competed in advanced level dressage. Stedinger is the sire of several top horses, including Status Quo, Schumacher, Tørveslettens Snowflake and Atterupgaards Minaia.
