Galaxy Win T has just finished his 50-day performance test in Holland. He scored 84 points; resulting in a shared third place.

During the weekend, a national show took place at Blue Hors; and Hjallerup Rideklub hosted a regional show. Riders from Helgstrand dressage participated in both shows.

Yesterday, Severo and Donna Silver started the Grand Prix, placing 5th with a score of 71.80%. This was their first show together, and today in the Grand Prix Kür, they appeared even more harmonious, when they delivered an amazing Kür, which was rewarded with 76.37%, resulting in victory in the class.

Maik and Douglas Hilltop were also among the equipages starting the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Kür. They obtained 69.53% in the Grand Prix and 71.16% in the Kür. Friday, Maik and Vladimir participated in Prix St. George, finishing 7th with a score of 68.02%. Saturday in MA1, they scored 70.69% and finished as winners of the class. Sunday morning, another Prix St. George took place, and this time they placed 5th, scoring 71.05%.

Ditte also participated at the national show during the weekend. In the MB1 last Thursday, she placed 7th with Unicorns Delicious, obtaining 67.90%. Friday, they finished 4th in MB2 with the score 71.59%. Saturday, they moved one step up, placing third in MB3 with 70.81%.

Primadonna and Marianne - winners of MB0

Last Friday, Marianne and Emma participated in the regional show in Hjallerup. They did really well, taking the first three places in the class. Marianne and Primadonna won the class with the score 72.05; and Marianne and Schakiro Pilekær placed second with 71.15%. Emma and Delicious finished right after as third, scoring 70.25%.

Finally, Emma and Delicious placed 5th in MB1 on Saturday with a score of 67.02%.

We are pleased to announce that Andreas won the title as Entrepreneur of the year and Future Winner in Northern Jutland. Andreas is now on to the finals, where all regional winners compete for the prestigious title as Entrepreneur 2014 in Denmark. Concurrently with the Entrepreneur of the year, the election of "Future Winner" takes place; this is a special title awarded to a young entrepreneur in Denmark who is under the age of 40. 

The finals take place on November 19; and until then it is possible to vote for your favourite candidate.

Recently, we had a competition on our Facebook page, offering a guided tour of Helgstrand Dressage. Christoffer was the lucky winner, and yesterday Christoffer visited us and received a tour of our facilities. It takes quite some time now to walk around the premises. Our new wellness area is almost ready now, and we have just started an extension of our canter/riding path. In future, the path will surround the new extensive pastures. It took a while to show Christoffer everything, and in addition to the tour, Christoffer received a riding lesson on his pony.

We hope Christoffer had a good experience and enjoyed the day.

Today, Fiontina and Severo won the ability test in Hjallerup with a very high margin. They obtained an impressive score of 965 points. Emma and Tørveslettens Fifty-Fifty followed as second with 920 points. Emma also finished third with Straight Horse Zackonik, obtaining 880 points. Ditte placed 9th with ERA Dazzling Hit, scoring 800 points.

Yet another great and convincing performance from our young horses. We are looking forward to following their development the coming months, while preparing for the championship for young horse in Herning.

Goldfinger has just passed his 35-day performance test in Danish Warmblood. He obtained a total result of 836.50 points, and he is now ready for the final licensing at Danish Warmblood's stallion licensing 2015.

Andreas has been nominated for the prize Future Winner 2014; three selected entrepreneurs are now left in the competition for the prize. In the next few weeks, you can read about the competition in Jyllandsposten and on finans.dk.

This year's stallion licensing in the German Hanoverian Society started last Thursday. Andreas could be found among the audiences from Thursday morning, when the stallions were presented on hard surface. One horse immediately caught Andreas's attention; it was catalogue no. 30. An expressive stallion with amazing gaits by Don Juan De Hus, with Londonderry as dam sire and Walt Disney in third generation. Throughout the licensing, the stallion showed lots of energy and self-confidence as well as fantastic gaits. Andreas was, therefore, extremely happy to end up as the owner of this gorgeous young stallion after a long bidding duel. 

We cannot wait to get this stallion to our stable at Helgstrand Dressage.

During the recent championship finals at the JBK-show in Odense, it became obvious to everyone that the Spanish rider, Severo Jurado Lopez, is a rider in a league of his own.

Severo is not a person attracting a lot of attention when he is competing at shows in Denmark with horses from Helgstrand Dressage. The calm Spaniard is minding his own business, however, as soon as he starts riding, you cannot help noticing him. He sits perfectly and influences the horse in the correct manner; and the horses look comfortable and at ease under him.

As announced on our homepage on October 3, it was quite a loss for Helgstrand Dressage that Severo had chosen to quit his position and go back to Van Olst Horses in Holland.

However, Severo has now reconsidered his decision to move back to Holland. He enjoys being part of the team at Helgstrand Dressage, and loves working with the talented horses. He has, therefore, decided to say no to the job in Holland and stay with Helgstrand Dressage.

- I am, of course, very happy that Severo has decided to stay with us. We are very pleased with Severo as a rider and a trainer of our horses, moreover, we appreciate his personal qualifications, and the energy and positivity he brings to the team, says Andreas Helgstrand.

Helgstrand Dressage put a significant mark on this year's championship finals. Especially, in the class for 4-year-olds, as 10 out of 16 horses represented Helgstrand Dressage. Severo and Fiontina won a clear victory with 9.50 points with e.g. remarkable 9.8 for trot and 9.5 for walk and canter. Rikke and Romanova placed 2nd with 8.88 points with e.g. 9.7 for trot and 9.6 for rideability. Ditte and Zermillo came third with 8.86 points, e.g. impressive 9.5 for rideability. Emma and Tørveslettens Fifty-Fifty finished 4th with 8.74 points.

In the class for 5-year-olds, our riders also made a very good impression, placing 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Once again, Severo finished in the top, this time he was 2nd with Hot Shot W with 8.84 points, and in addition he placed 4th with Zgander with a score of 8.52 points. Marianne and Super Mario Finished 3rd with 8.60 points.

In the class for 6-year-olds, Daniel and Prima Donna finished third, scoring 8.70 points
