We have just passed 10,000 "Likes" on our Facebook profile "Andreas Helgstrand". We are, of course, very proud and grateful for all our followers on Facebook. To mark our 10,000 "Likes", we received a very nice diploma and a huge cake from our administrator on facebook profile, the company Konxion.

Our new goal is 25,000 "Likes".

Saturday, Ditte and Daniel were off to Nordvestsjællands Rideklub with three 4-year-old horses to take part in this year's last qualifier for the championship for 4-year-olds. Both riders did really well; Ditte and Patrik placed second with 8.54 points, the same score as the winner. Ditte also placed third with Zermillo and a score of 8.52 points. Daniel and Forlan placed fourth with 8.32 points. 

We are looking forward to showing these three horses and several others again in two weeks at the next round in Middelfart. 

Saturday, in the finale of the Bundeschampionship for 4-year-old mares and geldings, Rikke and Romanova placed 6th. Romanova was the only horse in the finale to earn a 10. She received 10 for her outstanding trot, and they finished with a total score of 8.10. An extremely nice result for Rikke and the young mare.

Yesterday, Romanova and Rikke started the class for 4-year-old mares and geldings at the German Bundeschampionship in Warendorf. 36 riders participated in the class, and the 10 best equipages went directly on to the finale on Saturday. Rikke and Romanova obtained 8.10 points, enough for a shared fifth place; they received e.g. 9.5 for trot and 8.5 for canter. The great performance resulted in a ticket to the finale on Saturday.

At the Danish Warmblood Eliteskue during the weekend, our two 3-year-old mares earned two medals. Liva Enshøj was awarded a silver medal and San Felice received a bronze medal. 

Our stallion foal Elverhøjs Raccolto was presented on Saturday, however, he was a bit anxious due to the atmosphere; and unfortunately, he did not go on to the finals. He was, therefore, very happy to be back in his usual and safe surroundings at breeder Berith Nielsen's stables.

Congratulations to breeders and owner of mares and foals on these great results.

This weekend, the yearly Danish Warmblood elite show takes place. Saturday, we will be represented in the class for best stallion foals. Friday afternoon, Mikkala and Jhesika left for Vilhelmsborg with Elverhøjs Raccolto, an embryo-foal by the mare Polka Hit Nexen and with Sezuan as sire. Mikkala and Jhesika made a great presentation of Raccolto at the foal show in Hjallerup, and they will do their best at the presentation tomorrow. 

On Sunday, Jhesika and Emma will show San Felice and Live Enshøj; they will be competing against the other 3-year-old mares for the medals.

Yesterday, you could see more than four-legged horsepower at Helgstrand Dressage. The German Mercedes Club came by for a visit and a tour of the place. They arrived in nine exquisite and rare Mercedes.

The employees at Helgstrand Dressage really enjoyed seeing and hearing about these nice cars. No two days are alike when you are part of Team Helgstrand.

Yesterday, Franklin and Emma started the championship for 4 years old horses in Billund. They obtained 8.62 points, e.g. 9.5 for canter and 8.8 for rideability. The impressive scores resulted in victory in the class with a total of 44 equipages. Franklin has just returned to Denmark after staying in Holland at the Stable Witte during the breeding season.

Severo and Hot Shot W started the class for 5-year-olds. They placed second, scoring 8.20 points. Yet another show with a couple of great horses on to the semifinal in September. There is still another qualifier before the semifinal, where we also expect to start a few good young horses.

Ditte also participated in the show in Billund this weekend with her own horse Unicorns Delicious. Saturday, they won the MB0, scoring 70.64% and Sunday they placed third in MB1 with a score of 68.37%. 

Franklin

Last Friday, Romanova and her rider Rikke Dupont, finished as group winner and second in total at the Hanoverian Championship for 4-year-old mars and geldings. 71 horses started the class Friday, and Romanova and Rikke obtained 8.60 points. The 10 best equipages were on to the finals on Sunday. 

In the finals, Romanova and Rikke made a superb performance, and they finished as winners of the class with impressive scores, e.g. 9.5 for trot, canter and rideability. The equipage has been selected for the Bundeschampionate in  Warandorf, taking place at the beginning of September. 

Danciano finished in the top at the finals

Danciano started the finals for 4-year-old stallions. He once again did really well and placed second with 8.90 points. He was awarded e.g. 9.0 for trot and 9.5 for submission and exterior.

Sezuan showed his extreme talent when he won the finals in Verden for 5-year-olds on Saturday, scoring 9.76 points and he is now World Champion in his age group.

Even though Helgstrand Dressage has sold Sezuan, we are still very proud of him, and we are so happy about the great results. Congratulations on the outstanding results to his owner Gestüt Peterhof by Arletta Jasper Kohl and Edwin Kohl, and of course his rider Dorothee Schneider.
