 13.00 - 16.00

Saturday, Severo and Grand Galaxy Win participated in the last round of the selection for the WCYH in Ermelo. Grand Galaxy Win made great and stable performances both days, showing lots of energy. The pair was selected for the group of 5-year-old horses for KWPN.

As a result, we now have 7 horses participating in Ermelo, when the competition starts on July 28. Severo will be very busy as he will be participating with 5 horses: Fürst William in a stallion class for 4-year-olds; Grand Galaxy win and Rockson in the WCYH for 5-year-olds: and Franklin and Fiontina in the WCYH for 6-year-olds. Thomas and Vincent Maranello will again this year participate in the WCYH, this year in the group of 6-year-old horses. Simone Pearce and Fine Time will participate in the WCYH for 5-year-old horses.

We are incredibly proud that 4 of our licensed stallions will participate in this prestigious show.

The next couple of days, Grand Galaxy Win will be in Ermelo in Holland participating in the final selection for WCYH for 5-year-old horses, which takes place later this month.

Consequently, semen from Grand Galaxy Win will not be available the rest of this week.

We have just made a new video of the 3-year-old stallion Bonds.

Bonds was Siegerhengst at the German Oldenburger licensing in 2015; since then he has also passed his 14-day test, which is a requirement from the German association. Bonds is by Benicio with Sir Donnerhall I as dam sire.

We are very proud that we again this year will represent Danish Warmblood and Helgstrand Dressage at the World Championship for young horses in Ermelo in Holland. The following horses have been selected: Our two 6-year-old horses Fiontini and Vincent Maranello, and the 5-year-old gelding Rockson.

We are looking very much forward to the show at the end of July.

In addition to the championship classes, Marianne and Savona also participated in MB0 on Saturday and Sunday, and the pair won the class both days with 73.07% and 74.12%, respectively. Alexander and Jumanji started PRT on Saturday and won their class with 70.64%.

We are very proud of the great results obtained by all our horses this weekend, and especially the results of our three licensed stallions: Grand Galaxy Win, Vincent Maranello and Franklin; they all stand a fair chance to be selected for WCYH in Ermelo.

Sunday night, Ierland had a severe recrudescence after his surgery 2 months ago. Ierland was taken to Højgaard Hestehospital, but unfortunately he did not make it. We are extremely sad to lose this fantastic young stallion; we are convinced that he would have had a bright future. He had such a great personality, and he was a "darling" at our stable right from the beginning.

Severo and his horse Lorenzo are on their way back to Denmark after participating in the Spanish Championship. Their top performances all three days at the championship resulted in a well-deserved silver medal. We are extremely proud of Severo's achievement, and we are looking forward to having him back in Denmark.

The silver medal in the Spanish Championship has significantly improved the possibility for an OL-ticket for Severo and Lorenzo. We will keep our fingers crossed for them.

We are very pleased to announce that the KWPN stallion El Capone will be in our stables in Vodskov from now on, as Helgstrand Dressage has just acquired the stallion.

The 7-year-old stallion by UB 40 and with 00 Seven as dam sire has until now been trained by the Dutch rider Marieke Van Der Putten. The couple has e.g. been in the PAVO Cup finals in 2013 and 2014; both years they finished second in the finals. As 4- 5- and 6-year-old, El Capone won the KWPN stallion finals in Den Bosch. During the winter 2015/2016, El Capone and Marieke Van der Putten won the Dutch Championship at ZZ-licht level. In addition, the couple has just had their debut in Prix St. Georg, winning with 72%. El Capone is in the initial squad of the 7-year-old horses to be selected for UVM in Ermelo.

El Capone will still be available in Holland through the previous owner's stallion station De Dalhoeve.

In 2015, El Capone was licensed in Danish Warmblood. We are looking very much forward to offering yet another top stallion to the Danish breeders.
